Who we are
Abdsatar Benyoussef, operating as Ringly. Support and privacy officer: Abdsatar Benyoussef, ringlyai.ca@gmail.com. Updated October 8, 2026.
Information we handle
We receive business and contact details, phone setup preferences, appointment workflow, plan selection and agreement records through signup forms. Calls can contain caller numbers, names, messages, appointment requests, recordings, transcripts and AI-generated summaries. Website and service providers may also process technical connection and usage information. Avoid sharing payment card details, passwords or unnecessary sensitive information with the agent.
Purposes and providers
We use this information to prepare and operate your receptionist, pass messages and appointment requests to the business, provide support, manage subscriptions and document agreements. ElevenLabs processes voice and AI conversations; Twilio connects phone calls. Netlify hosts the website, Formspree handles forms, Gmail handles correspondence and Stripe handles checkout and billing. Card details are entered on Stripe, not our signup form. Providers may process data outside Québec or Canada; exact storage locations and all underlying AI subprocessors have not yet been confirmed. Contact us before sending information subject to location restrictions.
Call recording and caller choice
Recording is enabled in the current demo configuration. Recordings and transcripts support message handling, service review and troubleshooting. Before a customer line goes live, Ringly and the business must arrange a clear AI and recording notice, explain the purposes, obtain appropriate caller consent and offer an alternative contact method for callers who object. Signing the business agreement does not provide consent on behalf of callers. Contact us to discuss recording restrictions before activation.
Retention and deletion
The demo agent is configured to delete call audio, transcripts and derived personal-information fields after 30 days for conversations covered by the new setting. This was not applied retrospectively to older conversations. The same settings must be configured and checked for each customer agent before activation. Twilio is not configured to store separate call recordings, according to our current setup. The 30-day setting does not cover all metadata, signup forms, email, billing records or provider backups. Those records are retained only as needed for setup, service, support and applicable recordkeeping; a fixed schedule for form and email records has not yet been established. Contact us for deletion requests or a specific retention question.
Your requests and safeguards
Email the privacy officer to request access, correction, deletion where available, withdraw consent or raise a concern. We may verify identity and explain any legal or operational limits; withdrawal may prevent us from providing parts of the service. Callers may also contact the business they called. We limit use and sharing to service needs and applicable obligations. No security certification or guarantee of absolute security is claimed. For a privacy incident, contact ringlyai.ca@gmail.com. Policy updates will be dated on this page.
